Growth Care

Your website, maintained. Without you needing to think about it.

A website that is not maintained becomes a security risk, a performance problem, and eventually an embarrassment. Most business owners know this but do not have the time or inclination to run monthly plugin updates, test staging environments, and review security logs. The Growth Care plan does all of this on their behalf.

The plan covers monthly plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates — applied to a staging environment, tested, then pushed to production. This staging step exists because updates that break things are usually caught before visitors encounter them. It is not a guarantee of zero issues, but it reduces them significantly.

Security is monitored weekly. Off-site backups run daily with a tested restoration process. Performance is checked monthly against the baseline established at launch — page speed regressions from plugin additions or third-party script changes are caught and flagged.

The monthly content allowance (2 hours) covers the routine updates most businesses need but do not do because they cannot be bothered to log into the CMS: new team member, a price change, an outdated service description. Two hours covers more than most clients use in a month, but it is there when needed.

For sites we did not build, a two-week onboarding assessment runs first — reviewing code quality, security posture, and existing plugin stack, then fixing critical issues before the plan activates. The assessment is included in the plan price.

The plan is billed annually. Renewal rates do not increase for clients who have been on the plan for two consecutive years.

In practice

A Bibbiena legal practice on the Growth Care plan avoided a ransomware exposure when we flagged and patched a critical WordPress vulnerability within 48 hours of public disclosure. The alternative — a hacked site and potential client data exposure — would have been considerably worse.

A Casentino agriturismo on the plan had their site restored from backup within 90 minutes after a hosting provider error deleted live files. No data was lost. Downtime was under two hours.
